The company was established in 2001. During the intensive period of change, we have accumulated significant experience in business inception, expansion and restructuring issues. We effectively orient everyone in the issues of attracting EU funding; we can manage the various industry specific features and corporative financial details. A high-level project managers and financiers, leading industry experts and scientists are working on individual projects.

SIA “Baltijas Konsultācijas” operates on the Latvian market under the brand of Baltic Consulting since 2001. The company’s principal activity as from its beginnings is the attraction of the EU funding. Considering the availability of specialists, research and strategic consultation direction is being developed right from 2005.

Management

Aivars  Timofejevs – partner

Aivars Timofejevs has been a director, manager of regional development in Baltic countries and similar positions in corporate sector during last 10 years. He holds MBA of business administration, acquired in University of Stockholm, with specialization in research methods and tools and his PhD research is related to evaluation of support instruments for entrepreneurship and innovations. In addtion, Mr. Timofejevs has more than 15 years research experience working as research associate at Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, where he has been involved in management and organisation of various academic and applied research projects, supervising Bachelor and Master thesis, as well as management of trainings and seminars.

Gatis Liepiņš – partner

Graduated the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga in 2002. Has obtained a master’s degree in geography from the University of Latvia. Has worked in consulting business since 2002, gaining experience in transport, energy, education, science, tourism, culture and other fields. Baltic Consulting management team member since 2009.
